Nambya Culture Tour: Learn about the history, traditions and rural life of the Nambya people.

Tour will include;

Shangano Village; Tour a Nambya homestead and  meet the people

Shangano Ruins; A sacred site, home to the rainmaking ceremony and the burial place of Chief Chilobamago

Chilanga Primary School; Make direct donations to a rural school

Chenjelani Chicken project, Zamani Nutritional garden, a Dip tank and bird sightings

Village Hosted Meal: You will be treated to a wholesome traditional Nambya meal, through uncut  African hospitality. Duration 1hr: $25.00

Village Night Excursion: Spend the evening among the villagers dance to the Nambya Drum, experience the spiritual African sky, sharing stories of ancient myths, romance and culture. Duration 2Hrs: $35.00

Hwange Township Tour:Tour the self-contained community developed by the Colliery company

Tour will include;

Kamandama Memorial Site; A mass grave of the mine accident of 1976 the deadliest in Zimbabwe's history. It is ranked the 8th worst mine disaster in the world with 427 fatalities. A portion of  proceeds goes to the Kamandama Trust fund for surviving dependents

Hwange Colliery Coal Mine; View the geography of an open cast and have a deeper understanding on coal formation.

Activity; Tree planting on a reclaimed dumpsite

Nambya Museum; Visit the structure that holds the rich history of the BaNambya. An initiative to preserve the Nambya Minority tribe
